Based upon research we have composed, Alexander the Great may not be that great. He was a king at the early age of 20. He started the mission to conquer all the known land at that time. He was ruthless and blood thirsty. He slaughtered thousands of people in Thebes. He conquered 70 cities and named many after himself. There was even one city named after his horse, Bucephalus.

There were others that influenced Alexander the Great besides his father, King Phillip. At the age of 13, he was taught by the philosopher Aristotle. Yet, the had many run-ins with other philosophers. He included scientists and botanists within his army and not just soldiers. This way they could study the land as they conquered. After he would conquer, he would then dress like them. For example, he dressed like the Persians. This helped ease the people.
